1x Ripe Banana
Some Ground Cinnamon, Ginger & Clove to your liking.
In a mixing bowl mash or blend a banana, stir in the egg and spices and whisk, Heat up your pan, add a bit of your desired oil to heat, scoop in a couple of tablespoons of the mixture and cook, flip and serve with your desired sides. :)
If you would like something to dip or pour on your pancakes, I sometimes drizzle some Thai kitchens organic coconut milk on mine and it's soooo good. hehe
I cant tell you how much I love these. :)

Hi again everyone! So I just wanted to update on my Whole30, I have not given into temptation yet, Day 5 & going strong! :)
I am actually really enjoying the Whole30 challenge, although I must admit, it is much more time consuming than I had anticipated, between the meals, cleaning up and tidying the house and taking care of the little one, I don't get as much free time as usual, it's not like we ate bad, its just that I have to still please the non whole30 eaters in the house. hahaha
I have come to find a love and bigger appreciation for fruits and vegetables that I had started to lose, I am also enjoy things like nuts, eggs and meats more which is great in my books. I love that it is encouraging me to be more creative with my cooking, I don't know about you, but after a while meals get repetitive and sometimes rather boring but after starting The Whole30 challenge, my meals have been satisfying and refreshing. Which is great! :)
I have had no luck getting a non added sugar, plain nut butter from the store, which is driving me nuts, I was so hooked on peanut butter & honey on toast for breakfast or a snack, I also loved peanut butter in my smoothies and to dip fruit in. I miss it!
so, I'll go ahead and post some pictures of some of the foods I have been eating.
Vegetable fritata with strawberry halves & frothy banana milk.
Mash sweet potato, Green Curry fish with some veggies I had laying around.
Caulirice & Chicken Stir-fry
Turkey patties, salad & some mashed butternut squash.
I will post some recipes soon in case anyone would like any, so far I am in love with banana pancakes in the mornings! :)

Woo Day 3! So far it's been easy but I can't say I have had no cravings, I have wanted to eat something deliciously sweet but have not caved into my sweet tooth, I know that it could get harder later but I do not plan on quitting this. hehe :D
For all of those that are not sure of what I am talking about, I recently started a Whole 30 challenge, don't know what it is? It's a nutritional program designed to change your life in 30 days. by eliminating certain food from your diet, you give your body a chance to heal and hopefully learn from this. For my first day I started out with Eggs, bacon & an apple for breakfast. for lunch I was a getting hungry and needed something quick so, I had a rolled egg omelet & a delicious salad packed with lots of yummy things and I just sprinkled it with some salt, pepper & lemon. For dinner I made more of an effort, I had turkey veggie patties, butternut squash baked fries & some salad vegetables on the side.
If you would like the recipe for my Turkey veggie Burgers just follow the steps below.
1 lb Ground Turkey
1 small onion or half a regular sized onion chopped
3 regular sized mushrooms chopped smaller pieces
1 celery stalk chopped small
1 garlic clove crushed
1/2 a small zucchini shredded
1 tsp of cumin
2 tsp paprika
1 tbsp of fresh parsley and cilantro ( 1 tsp of each dried if you don't have fresh)
1/4 tsp of ground ginger or less
salt & pepper to taste

Imaginarium Wooden Farm Set.

I just had to share my daughters latest toy, it's a little farm house and I got it on sale recently from Toys'R'US for $15.99, but I believe it is now going for $19.99. They little characters are so adorable and I find them to be safe for my daughter who is 16 Months. The house is pretty cute as well and i did have to build it but it didn't take me that long, specially considering I used a normal screwdriver. It also comes with a paper mat but my daughter would destroy that in a second, so i didn't lay it down.
So that is enough of that toy, we have also been playing a lot of puzzles on our ipad and she has gotten so good at the single piece ones, but she has recently started doing 4 piece puzzles and just yesterday I caught her playing a card match game on the Winnie the pooh app. I am so happy about this, she has been doing real puzzles since November but was always so frustrated by the ones on the ipad until now. It's crazy that she is not even a year and half and she can navigate through the ipad so well, she finds her apps, opens & closes them on her own. :)
New year has been great and I have been working on our resolutions, eating better, working out, dedicating more time to the little care-bear, also adding some me time to the agenda and just today i dealt with one of my bad habits, I cleaned my make up brushes! I will be cleaning those bad boys every time I use them. :D
Would anyone like me to share recipes for things we eat? or maybe ideas of meal plans or snacks?
Well, I hope to have up a recipe very soon for a kid friendly craft or activity soon.

Happy New Year! I hope you all had a lovely new years eve and got to celebrate for the New year. We stayed in, baked future cookies as my husband calls it, played games with our daughter and watched movies.
One thing I enjoyed about not going out and celebrating was that I didn't feel awful the next day. haha I don't know about you, but I just can't do late nights anymore, I know the little carebear will still wake up at the same time and that means I do too. :/
For the New Year I have decided that I will be making some changes, My New Years resolutions are to be Healthy, Happy & to be the best Mother I can be to my daughter.
I have decided that I want to incorporate exercise into my daily life. I want to eat cleaner & drink more water. I will also be making an effort to do more activities with my daughter, try to see things from her perspective and to have more patience. Last but not least, I want to try to be more positive, let go of grudges & not take everything to heart.
Have any of you made any resolutions for the new year? If so what are they? well, it's our bed time.... but I look forward to posting a new recipe or activity soon.
